The typical day will begin with setting up the fireworks on the tables under the tent for display from the storage container. What if I do not have retail experience?

Retail experience is always a plus but not a prerequisite for the job.  We are looking for energetic, responsible adults who are interested in working hard for a three week period.  You will be trained on all retail aspects of the business if you do not have retail experience.

Who will I be working with?

Tent location:
If you are hired as a location manager of a tent, you will be given a couple of weeks to find your own assistant manager (i.e. brother, sister, friend) whom you will be working with daily. This person will have to be interviewed and approved by management before they are formally hired. If you cannot find your own assistant manager we will assign someone to work with you. Typically, this person will be a college student or school teacher as are most of our employees. Also, during peak sales (July 2 -4) you will be working with as many as four other employees. As location manager you will be able to recruit your own staff to work with you. Most managers have friends and family work with them.
Number of Employees:
Most stands will only have one employee throughout the sale with the exception of July 1 - July 5. The number of employees is typically determined by the volume of business generated in previous years.
